Madre Coffee Table Set

A pair of curvey, nested coffee tables with multiple configuration possibilities. The baby bean shaped coffee table nests under the mother. Designed as my son was about to enter the world, the design represents maternal protective instincts.

 

Made from 30mm thick reclaimed messmate as the top and PEFC certified Tasmanian Oak as the legs, the large table measures approximately 1050mm long, 560mm wide and 400mm high. The small table measures approximately 500mm long, 320mm wide and 350mm high.

Can be made to custom dimensions. Finished in a water resistant hardwax oil, which is durable and easy to repair, whilst showing the true character of the grain.
